When will my order update a tracking status?

Overview

This article explains when your order tracking status is updated on BurgerPrints. It is intended for users who are tracking their orders and wondering why some orders show tracking early while others take longer.

After reading this article, you can more easily estimate when tracking will appear and know exactly where to check for the most up-to-date tracking information.

About Order Tracking Status

Tracking information does not always appear immediately after an order is placed. The timing of tracking updates depends on the Fulfillment Location processing your order.

Each Fulfillment Location follows a different process for providing tracking information. To clarify this process, BurgerPrints groups locations into 2 categories based on whether they support early tracking.

Fulfillment Locations That Support Early Tracking

With these locations, tracking information may be available quite early, even during the initial production stage.

Supported Locations

In the US Fulfillment Locations

  • Grand

  • Vini

  • Matterhorn

  • Blanca

  • Breva

  • Helia

In the EU Fulfillment Locations

  • Rocky

  • Snowdon

In the VN Fulfillment Location

  • Truong Son

Typical tracking update time

  • Within 1–2 hours

    • Matterhorn

    • Breva

    • Helia

  • Within 5–6 hours

    • Snowdon

    • Blanca

In most cases, orders from these locations show tracking within 1–24 business hours.

Fulfillment Locations That Do Not Support Early Tracking

Some locations provide tracking information only after the order has fully completed the production stage and the package is ready to be handed over to the shipping carrier.

Fulfillment Locations

In the US Fulfillment Locations

  • Denali

  • Spire

  • Barnett

  • Vega

  • Hatta

  • Moraine

In the EU Fulfillment Locations

  • Nevis

  • Emory

  • Pura

In the VN Fulfillment Location

  • Fansipan

Other Locations

  • China

  • India

Production time before tracking appears

  • Apparel: 1–3 business days

  • Full Prints: 3–5 business days

For these locations, it is completely normal not to see tracking during production. Tracking appears shortly after production is finished.

How To Check Tracking Updates

Check tracking from the Orders page

Step 1: Go to the Orders page

From the left navigation bar, click Orders to open the order list.

Step 2: Search for the order you want to track

Use the search bar at the top of the Orders page to find the order using one of the following criteria:

  • Order ID

  • Reference ID

  • Customer name

  • Customer email

Select the appropriate option from the dropdown, enter the corresponding information, and click Search.

Step 3: Select a paid order

From the search results, click the order you want to track. Make sure the order has:

  • Payment status = Paid

  • A fulfillment status that allows tracking (Fulfilled, Shipped, …)

Step 4: Find the tracking number

In the order list or order details page:

  • Check the Tracking column

  • The tracking information includes:

    • Shipping method (Standard, Express, …)

    • Carrier name (for example: USPS)

    • Tracking number

Step 5: Review tracking updates Click the tracking number, then scroll down to the Timeline to view the shipment progress of the order.

Check tracking from the Tracking management page

This section is appropriate when you want to monitor shipping status in detail, especially in the following cases:

  • The order is processed at a Fulfillment facility that supports early tracking but has not yet been handed over to the shipping carrier.

  • The tracking number has appeared, but the shipping status has not been updated.

  • You need to review multiple orders at the same time and monitor them using specific filters.

However, at this time:

  • The shipping carrier may not have scanned the package yet.

  • The carrier’s tracking page may show a status such as “Label created” or no data available.

In this case, you should continue monitoring the order in Tracking management to check when the carrier begins updating actual statuses such as In transit, Out for delivery, or Delivered.

Step 1: Access Tracking management

From the left navigation bar, click Tracking management.

Step 2: Review tracking and shipping information

You can search by:

  • Order ID

  • Reference ID

  • Customer name

  • Customer email

And filter by:

  • Date range

  • Store

Each row displays:

  • Shipping method and carrier (for example: Standard – USPS)

  • Tracking number

  • Quick actions, including:

    • Copy tracking number

    • Download the shipping label with the order label

Step 3: Open carrier tracking details

  • In the Tracking number column, tracking numbers appear as clickable links.

  • When you click a tracking number, the system will:

    • Automatically open the official tracking page of the shipping carrier (for example: USPS, DHL, …)

    • Display the latest shipment status, including:

      • Pickup confirmation

      • Transit updates

      • Out for delivery

      • Delivery confirmation or exceptions

Here, sellers can view detailed tracking information and monitor shipment progress directly from the shipping carrier, without manually copying the tracking number.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Whether tracking appears early or later depends on the Fulfillment Location processing the order, not only on the order status.

  • If an order is still in the production stage and has no tracking, this is completely normal for locations that do not support early tracking.

  • To check whether tracking has appeared, you should: Go to Orders or Tracking management on the Dashboard to review the tracking information.

  • If you feel anxious because tracking has not appeared yet:

    • Check whether the order has completed the production stage

    • Tracking usually appears immediately after the package is handed over to the shipping carrier

  • If you need early tracking for future orders:

    • Check the Fulfillment Location and product type when creating the order

    • Some locations and products support earlier tracking depending on their production workflow
