How to bulk order on BurgerPrints

Overview

This article explains how to place bulk orders on BurgerPrints and how the ordering process differs from standard POD orders. The Dashboard currently supports a maximum of 30 items per order to ensure stable production and optimized shipping for print-on-demand fulfillment.

Orders that exceed 30 items require a separate workflow and Support assistance. This guide helps you understand the limitations, how to request bulk order processing, and what information you need to prepare before contacting Support.

About Bulk Order

Bulk orders on BurgerPrints refer to orders that exceed the Dashboard limit of 30 items. These orders require a separate workflow because they involve higher production volume, additional planning, and customized consultation on fulfillment capacity, printing methods, packaging, and shipping.

A bulk order is defined by one or more of the following conditions:

  • The total quantity exceeds 30 items in a single order

  • The order requires special production planning (multiple SKUs, size or color breakdowns, layered designs)

  • The order may involve multiple cartons or region-based shipping arrangements

  • The user needs quotation approval before confirming pricing with customers

  • The request requires verifying location production capacity

Bulk orders are still print-on-demand items, meaning each product is printed individually. Because of this, production and shipping times may differ from regular orders and may require consultation with Support before confirming with your customers.

How To Place Orders Up To 30 Items

Orders with 30 items or fewer follow the same workflow as standard POD orders. You can create them directly from the Dashboard using your preferred method:

  • Sync order via Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, Walmart, API, Order Desk and other platform

  • Create order from the Orders section

How To Request Bulk Orders Over 30 Items

Bulk orders over 30 items cannot be created through the Dashboard. Follow the steps below to request Support assistancearrow-up-right.

Step 1: Check supported product list and available locations

Before requesting a bulk order, review the published list of:

  • Supported product types

  • Available fulfillment locations that can process bulk quantities

  • Printing methods supported by each location

  • Special handling notes for specific SKUs (if any)

This helps you confirm whether the product you need is eligible for bulk ordering and select the appropriate location before contacting Support.

Step 2: Provide order information to Support

Prepare the following details to help Support evaluate production capacity:

  • Product type(s)

  • Quantity per product

  • Color and size breakdown

  • Mockup and Design file

  • Destination country and expected delivery window

  • Any customization notes (if applicable)

Step 3: Get consultation on printing methods and packaging

Based on the product type and selected location, Support provides detailed consultation on:

Printing methods

  • The optimal printing technology for large-quantity POD orders

  • Print limitations for specific SKUs (large print area, multi-layer effects, metallic ink, etc.)

  • Required adjustments if the design needs pre-production review

Packaging standards

Support confirms how your bulk order will be packed based on product dimensions, weight, and total quantity:

  • How many items can be packed into one box

  • Whether the order requires multiple cartons for safe handling

  • The type of packaging materials used (box type, protective layers, polybags, inserts, etc.)

  • Any special handling needed for fragile or oversized items

Shipping carrier and delivery expectation

You also receive information on the shipping plan:

  • The shipping carrier assigned for this order

  • Whether the order will be split into multiple shipments

  • The estimated transit time by region

  • Any carrier limitations that may impact routing or delivery time

This consultation helps you understand the full fulfillment workflow and set accurate expectations for your buyers before confirming the order.

Step 4: Request pricing details

Support provides the full cost breakdown:

  • Discount eligibility (if applicable)

  • Base cost per item

  • Estimated shipping fee per package or region

  • Additional handling fees if required

Note: Discounts and special pricing must be approved before you confirm your order with your customers.

Step 5: Request a sample test before full production

After you review all production, printing, and pricing details, Support may recommend producing a sample item before moving into full production. This step helps ensure:

  • Print quality matches your expectations

  • Colors and details align with your design requirements

  • The selected printing method is suitable for the product type

  • Material and product finishing meet your standards

  • Packaging quality is appropriate for the order

After you receive and review the sample:

  • Confirm approval with Support

  • The location proceeds with full production based on the approved sample

  • Any adjustments must be finalized before bulk production begins

This step helps reduce risks for large-quantity orders and allows you to confidently commit results to your customers.
